VINYASA FLOW FOR STRESS AND ANXIETY MANAGEMENT. THE SUPER PRACTICAL GUIDE.
Feel confident in planning and teaching a curriculum of classes that help your students find calm. A short course of study, a life time of thanks from your students.
We all know that, in general, Yoga has an overall stress reducing effect. But, do you know the specifics about which asanas, breath practices and mindful practices are actually lifting or lowering the stress response? More importantly, do you know how we can utilise this information for the benefit of our students?
In this yoga teacher training workshop, learn the specific benefits and practical application of asanas, breath practices and mindfulness meditations appropriate for stress and anxiety relief. Each have their own benefit as a mode of altering the functioning of your nervous system. Learn to teach how, not only calm the nervous system, but to also to build resilience, so your students can manage stress and anxiety with greater ease.
With teaching several large, Vinyasa Flow classes per week, and a continual list of private clients enrolled into my 'Yoga for Anxiety and Stress Management Course', I have found that there is a beautiful blend to be found, empowering class students to understand how to work with their Yoga movement, breath practice and mindfulness to help manage stress and anxiety. With a recent study showing that over 30% of students show up to Yoga Classes for stress relief, I believe it is super important that we, as teachers, understand the specifics and can apply them into our classes as appropriate.
